Examples of Agassi in a Sentence
We’ve got a huge group of guys there. We just don’t have the world beaters, i don’t think we will have a Sampras-Agassi era of, just, dominance like that again. It’s rare for any country.
I grew up watching Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Jim Courier — all of these greats that were No. 1 in the world and multiple Grand Slam champions — and then after that, great competitors like Andy Roddick and James Blake. It is a little bit sad to see that we don’t have guys in the Top 10, the group now, we’re all very competitive, and we don’t want to be where we’re ranked. We’re all pushing hard. We have the skill and ability to make moves.
We know that there's quite a history to it. Think of John McEnroe, think of Ilie Nastase, Jimmy Connors, Andre Agassi. These men all berated chair umpires, famously so. Commercials have been made. John McEnroe has done,' you can't be serious' and all the other tirades, top of John McEnroe lungs over the years and none of them received a game penalty, would he( umpire) have done that with a man ? History has said, no. He would not have done that with a man.
