"Mano a Mano" is a spanish term very common in that language, most likely it originared in Spain. I am personally very familiar with its use, is the typical term it is used in the basque country of spain, when two "pelotaris" compete each other hand to hand in their traditional handball games. In the basque country, every town small or large, has a public handball court "El Fronton" where the games are played and is a very important part of their community life. Historically the term "mano a mano" has been in existence at least ninetyone years which is my current age.
