Hatfield is a town and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster in South Yorkshire, England. It has a population of 16,184.

or Bishop's Hatfield (4), a market-town of Hertfordshire, 18 m. NW. of London; its parish church dates from the 13th century, and in the vicinity stands Hatfield House, a noble architectural pile of James I.'s time, the seat of the Marquis of Salisbury.
