    "Frenesí" is a musical piece originally composed by Alberto Domínguez Borrás for the marimba, and adapted as a jazz standard by Leonard Whitcup and others.

    Frenesí is a Grammy Award - winning album by American singer/songwriter/producer Linda Ronstadt released in 1992. It was Ronstadt's third Spanish-language album. It reached number 193 on the Billboard album chart, #3 on the Top Latin Albums chart and #17 on the Tropic/Salsa chart. Three singles charted on the Hot Latin Tracks chart: "Frenesi" - at number 5, "Perfidia" - at number 7, and "Entre Abismos" at number 33. At the 35th Grammy Awards, Frenesí won the Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album. This album is now out of print.
