    For similarly named villages, see Starża, Greater Poland Voivodeship and Starża, West Pomeranian Voivodeship.Starza [ˈstaʐa] (German: Staarz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Świerzno, within Kamień County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) east of Świerzno, 17 km (11 mi) east of Kamień Pomorski, and 67 km (42 mi) north-east of the regional capital Szczecin. Before 1637 the area was part of Duchy of Pomerania. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania. The village has a population of 179.
