Wikipedia

  1. scrambles

Scrambles is the fifth studio album by Bomb the Music Industry!, released digitally and physically on February 15, 2009. The album was released a year and a half after Get Warmer, making it the longest gap between the release of two chronologically adjacent Bomb the Music Industry! albums. Frontman Jeff Rosenstock aimed to record the album on a limited budget of $50; up to that point, the band had never spent that much money on the recording of an album. In 2019, to celebrate the album's 10th anniversary, a compilation of demos for the album was released by Rosenstock.

  1. Scrambles

Scrambles is an album by Bomb the Music Industry! which was released digitally on February 15, 2009 via Quote Unquote Records, free of charge. The album was also released physically on Asian Man Records. The physical version includes a 32-page zine by friends of the band including Latterman, Mustard Plug, Kaiju Big Battel, Bridge and Tunnel, and Cheeky. In April 2008, several demos from Scrambles were posted on the Bomb the Music Industry! MySpace for a few days before being taken down. On October 4, 2008 the band entered the studio to start recording. The album originally was due out in January 2009, but it was delayed to allow time for printing the zine. In a Myspace blog post, frontman Jeff Rosenstock described the music as "lots of piano. lots and lots of it. not much punk, not much ska so might as well stop listening?" He added, "the next batch of songs will be about 68% as good as the last Defiance, Ohio record." Reviews of the album have praised its perceived cohesiveness and clever lyrics. One reviewer wrote that, "Rosenstock's songwriting, which has always been quirky and introspective, is at its best here, mixing the personal and the humorous, and finding the difficult balance." Another reviewer declared that "Jeff Rosenstock is slowly becoming the only voice in punk that matters."

When the Air Self Defense Force detects indications of an unidentified flying object that could violate our country's airspace, it scrambles fighter jets if necessary and makes visual observation, no extraterrestrials.

  2. Dan Mullen:

Yeah, I think you see him really settling down and understand, i thought he did a great job making his reads, managing the offense, getting us in the right checks, getting us into the right plays. You know, decision-making was pretty good in the pass game. And obviously, scrambling — I mean, look at it, what did he have, 15 carries? That’s probably a little much, but I think a bunch of ’em were scrambles, too, and him improvising. I don’t know if we called many direct quarterback runs in the game tonight.

  3. Peter Layton:

These daily scrambles are gradually wearing the F-15J fleet out. The concern is that China has some six times more fighters then The JASDF, and could further ramp up intrusions whenever it considers appropriate. The in-service life of Japan's F-15J fleet is now almost a decision that lies with China.
