    Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (IATA: MRU, ICAO: FIMP) is the main international airport in Mauritius. It is located 30 miles (48 km) southeast of the capital city of Port Louis. The airport was previously known as the Plaisance Airport and has direct flights to several destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe and is home to the country's national airline Air Mauritius. Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd (AML) is the owner and operator of the airport, the Government of Mauritius is the major shareholder of AML.

    (n., v.)Failure in massive proportions. Initially used to describe a stunt kite hitting the ground ignominiously and repeatedly. Later used to denote traffic hazards, water-main breaks, and sundry other events and indignities with comedic and/or Darwin Award potential.

    Mistakenly forgetting to include the final S in the word "assess" is a jaw-dropping fimp.

    Etymology: Created in Vancouver, Canada by Galen and Patricia Wheeler in 2018 and now beginning to propagate on Facebook.
