biafraDefinition of Biafraland: Biafraland is an Ancient , Sovereign , Multicultural , Transterritorial African Region - spanning (both) West Africa and Central Africa , mainly along the contour of the Bight of Biafra, which is an arm of the Gulf of Guinea , essentially stretching from the Niger River Delta in Nigeria , Through Douala in Cameroon , and all of the Way to Gabon via Equatorial Guinea (in addition to others). Biafraland is far much bigger in size , in history , in culture (and in scope) than the (much smaller) Seccessionist Biafra Republic. The Term "Biafraland" was originally coined by a Black European (Medical) Doctor of Biafran Heritage , Joseph Chikelue Obi , in December 1991 - after he personally felt that the previous aforementioned names ( "Bight of Biafra" and "Biafra" ) did not really do enough Justice to the Multicultural Nature of Region. The Official Flag of Biafraland was also originally designed by Dr Joseph Chikelue Obi , in December 1991 - and , to date , is still the only Biafran Flag which tacitly recognizes the fact that Biafraland and the Federal Republic of Nigeria should "Closely Cooperate" with each other. Out of almost 1000 (One Thousand) Tribal Dialects : 13 (Thirteen) of the Major Official Languages of Biafraland include Igbo , Izon , Efik , Ibibio , Fang , Fula, Pidgin , Camfranglais , Pichinglis , English , French, Spanish and Portuguese (among lots and lots of others). Professor Doctor Joseph Chikelue Obi currently serves as the State Counsellor of Biafraland.
