| Irene Mary Taylor | (1932–2015), English Catholic figure and catechist best known for her "immutable devotion" to the Virgin Mary and the series of saints whose lives resonated with her including Dominic Savio and Josemaría Escrivá. Her legacy and works, along with those of her husband Derrick Taylor, have been posthumously organised to form the Catholic theological system of Irenianism named in her honour. Her Cause for Beatification was launched by her grandson Cometan in 2020 but has yet to be formally submitted to the Vatican in Rome for consideration. |
