  1. proud flesh

Proud flesh, also known as exuberant granulation tissue, is an excessive growth of tissue during the healing process of an open wound, often seen in horses. This tissue protrudes above the wound's surface and can impede the growth of normal skin cells, slowing or preventing proper wound healing. It is commonly associated with wounds on the legs or other areas with little underlying soft tissue.

Wikidata

  1. Proud Flesh

Proud Flesh is a German rock band from the early Krautrock era. The band was formed in 1969 in the former diplomat's city of Bonn-Bad-Godesberg and split up in 1972. The group had been made up of musicians of the local bands Cool Stove, Desperados, Hangmen and Rats. The band's repertoire consisted of their own songs and, depending on the line-up, interpretations of Deep Purple, Spooky Tooth, Led Zeppelin, Ten Years After, Steppenwolf, Elvis, Black Sabbath, Chicago, Free, Jimi Hendrix, Vanilla Fudge, Nice et al. Proud Flesh toured all over Germany, did gigs in Luxembourg and were the supporting act for famous bands such as The Lords, The Rattles, Golden Earring and Brian Auger and The Trinity. After some pieces of Softrock at the start and melodical Progressive rock songs later on the music of the band became more and more hard rock like. From the final chord of Proud Flesh up to now two songs have been included in productions of a more recent date.
